There­fore, effi­cient­ly orga­nized pro­cure­ment process­es are nec­es­sary to guar­an­tee the com­pet­i­tive­ness of the whole group.

Our pur­chas­ing orga­ni­za­tion: We decid­ed to imple­ment a hybrid pur­chas­ing orga­ni­za­tion. Strate­gic rel­e­vant prod­ucts are pur­chased at a cen­tral depart­ment for all SCHERDEL sites. Addi­tion­al­ly, local buy­ers sup­port the plants with their pur­chas­ing activities.

Our val­ues and prin­ci­ples: For our com­pa­ny the obser­va­tion of laws and reg­u­la­tions is top pri­or­i­ty. Every employ­ee is per­son­al­ly respon­si­ble to observe the laws with­in his/her work area. 

Fur­ther­more, we refuse to accept any kind of dis­crim­i­na­tion. In all of our busi­ness activ­i­ties, we expect a fair coop­er­a­tion with our cus­tomers, sup­pli­ers and com­peti­tors. We express­ly refuse cor­rup­tion and unfair com­mer­cial prac­tices, i.e. price fixing.

Our sup­pli­er man­age­ment: Because of the fact that SCHERDEL main­ly offers prod­ucts for the auto­mo­tive indus­try, we have an IATF com­pli­ant sup­pli­er man­age­ment. This includes the selec­tion, release, eval­u­a­tion and devel­op­ment of suppliers.
