As it is the case for many „hid­den cham­pi­ons“, SCHERDEL prod­ucts can be found on the whole. Let us take the exam­ple of an auto­mo­bile: Whether it is a valve spring in a tra­di­tion­al gaso­line or diesel engine or an assy sta­tor con­nec­tor for the lat­est gen­er­a­tion of an elec­tric motor, the devel­op­ment comes from SCHERDEL.

Prod­uct devel­op­ment starts with the sim­u­la­tion of com­po­nent func­tions and pro­duc­tion process­es, fol­lowed by the design and the con­struc­tion of the pro­to­types until they are released to series production.

The use of sim­u­la­tion pro­gramms such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, RECURDYN, MOLDFLOW etc and design pro­gramms such as CATIA, SIEMENS NX, CREO, INVENTOR allow the user the best pos­si­ble devel­op­ment result.

Due to the per­fect design of the com­po­nents, the use of design and process FMEAs and the per­ma­nent com­par­i­son of the test results with the inter­nal design cri­te­ria, the cre­at­ed prod­ucts can be pro­duced reli­ably in series quan­ti­ties amount­ing to three-dig­it millions.

Our employ­ees have the pos­si­bil­i­ty to imple­ment all their skills and pro­vide solu­tions which they can sig­nif­i­cant­ly cre­ate them­selves. There are no lim­its to the cre­ativ­i­ty of the employees!

Thanks to the close coop­er­a­tion with col­leges, uni­ver­si­ties and research insti­tutes SCHERDEL could repeat­ed­ly “push bound­aries”. The new design cri­te­ria lead to the fact that prod­ucts become small­er, lighter and even more functional.
